'I he Anglican General Synod resumed this afternoon. , Mr M, Jameson, of Wellington, was appointed lay representative for the MeJanesian Missions. The Committee ori Educational Institutions recommended - that, application be made to the Supreme Court tor power to sell the site of S.t John's Grammar School. The Committee also endor-*"Od and strongly recommended ilu\ proposal to complete the building of He. John's College.' o.\i:ig to the present inability to meet the demand for-further accommodation for-students, the Committee number recommended that the various bodies controlling the several •ichooh u iiic!) deal with the education oi natives .should hold a conference for file purpose of bringing about a better co-ordination -of the system at u resent existing in the schools. The Committee noted with pleasure the indention of tiie Trustees of Te Auto College to, further develop The- agricultural side of the training given at the college.
