Sir, —Your correspondent seems to be rejoicing over Monday night's incident at Mauricevil'le. However, ho neglected to state wlvat the non-com. called the other chap after hands were shaken. Ho that one or two Territorials have been trying to make things un-ploa-s»;nt for the non-com., But here he is wrong, because the best part of us srro. It is alleged that when the Ma&terton aifair took place, the noncom. said if he know the men felt like that towards him he wouldn't put on a uniform.. We are just waiting for this to happen. Your correspondent also said the lad threw in the sponge, and cried he had had enough. That is wrong. He wa-s asked if lie was finished, and he said "Yes." Your eorreisponclero l -. also said when they 'had shaken hands the matter was settled'; but we don't think so.
