Large provincial are active-
ly joining with London in on agitation against the disfranchisement of the cities. Almost all the members of the city corporation will 1)0 ineligible if the proposed amendment of the Franchise Act is adopted, as under the 1849 Act common. Council candidates are hound to appear, on the Parliamentary register.
