| DfSMISSAL OF RUSSELL. REINSTATEMENT REFINED. ■ (Received Last Night, 10 o'clock.) SYDNEY, January 13. Til reply to a letter from the Industrial Registrar suggesting that the Mount Kenibla Company make reparation to Russell by reinstating him, the secretary of tho Company points out that in dismissing Russell at the end of a fortnight's notice. the company was. exercising its clear legal right. Tt denies the charge of victimisation, or n desire to strike at unionism. It claims that tho Commissioner's findings justified his dismissal, and adds: "The company does not acknowledge any obligation to render an account of its action in regard to its 'internal management. Tt considers IJliat tho reinstatement of Russell would be a fatal mistake, utterly subversive of proner discipline, and it •must act accordingly."
