„, . I NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. , (By Telegraph—Prw AtidciaHon.) t WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. 0. Bates, of the rological Offioe, this evening issued the following:— Strong west to south-west winds have prevailed with showery and changeable weather on the West, Coast and southern -districts of the South Island, and fair to cloudy weather elsewhere, '['lie barometer has fallen in the south to-day. Present indications are for westerly and northerlyw inds, strong to gale, with warm and sultry weather on. the eastern coasts of both islands, but inereasing cloudiness generally. with rain following for a storm area, which appears to be approaching from the westward. The barometer is likely to fall fast everywhere soon.
