MOTOR BOAT RACE
SPEED CHAMPIONSHIP
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) SYDNEY. January 12.
Mr A. Hordorn's Kangaroo won the motor boat speed championship of Australasia.
The race took place over a course from Rose Bay to Manly and back twice. The Kangaroo won the first heat in 38min 35sec, travelling at the rate of 29.8 miles per hour. The second heat took 3&min 15sec.
