INCUMBENTS' INTERESTS.

Mr MoKenn.n. .strongly opposed the amendment, which Mas negatived bv 230 votes to 190.
But for the vrvfc* of tSn Nationalists, the Governrr-"T,t would have been in a minoritv of thirtv.
Many Radicals abstained from voting.
_ Messrs Barnes. Walsh, Keir-Hnr-dio and three colleagues voted with the Conservatives.
