| NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. [ (By Telegraph—Pre** Auociation.) > WELLINGTON, La6t Night. | The Rev D. 0. Botes, of the Me*«oroiogical Office, this evening issued the following:— Strong west to south westerly winds have prevailed, with squally and showery weather, especially in ,Foveaux Strait and on the West Coast of the South Island, hut fair elsewhere. The barometer has been most unsteady, but with a rising tendency in the northern and southernmost districts. Present indications are for strong west to south-westerly winds, with changeable squally and showery weather generally, and especially on the West Coast and in the south. The barome'ter will probably rise everywhere soon.
