Messrs Abraham and Williams, i.td, report: At our Palroerston North sale, held on Thursday, the 9th hist;, we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle'. Bidding was dull, and several lots were passed out unsold. We quote :—Sheep : Mixed 2 tooths 12s 6d to 14s lid. Cattle: 18 months steers £5 ss; empty cows £3 10s to £3 18s 6d ; 2 year empty heifers £2 6s, forward heifers £4 to £4 ss; springing cows £7; bulls £3 2s 6cl to £4 10s.
