The now land which was discovered by the German Antarctic expedition, mi dor the command of the Bavarian explorer. Lieut. Filchnor. which he christened Prince- Regent Luitpold Land, is between latitude sixty-seven and thirty-five and longitude thirty, and extends tn the south to seventynine and w°st +•« +b.« Grand Barrier.
