THURSDAY ASSOCIATION. The Wairarapji Thursday Cricke.' Association's matches were continued yesterday afternoon, when the Amateur Athletic Club played the Hockey Club on the Park Oval. Tho weather was delightful, and the pitch in .good order, although at one end the ball rose somewhat. The Athletic Club were easily defeated, their opponents winning by an innings, although the latter only succeeded in scoring 87 in their first innings. The Nomads to-day defeated a team chosen by Colonel Knox and including Lord Liverpool by 123 runs. Ratting first the local men put on 201, Captain Shaw making 31. and Robertson 41. The Nomads got 327, Pomeroy making 104 and Cook 66, not. out.

Rowling for the locals Luckie took 7 wicket'; for 78 runs, while Bernenu did best for Nomads, taking five wickets for 00.
