NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. {by Telegraph — tr*>* Auodation.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. C. Bates, of the Mc f «o. roiogical Office, this evening issued the following:— The centre of a cyclonic storm pissed throxigh Cook Strait on Monday night, and the weather in its rear, has been modified by a low pressure, area still in evidence in the south. Rain has fallen in most.parts of the Dominion, and southerly winds have predominated, with a rising barometer "in'the north. Present indicitions a.re for moderate to strong westerly winds, with a southerly tendency. Showery weather probable on the West Coast and in southern districts, and fair to cloudy weather prevailing elsewhere. The barometer is unsteady, but with a rising tendency.
