BLAYNEY BY-ELECTION. STRENUOUS FIGHT. (Received January 2, 9.13 a.m.) SYDNEY, January The fight for the Blayney seat in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, rendered vacant by the resignation of Mr Beehy, one of the Ministry, who seeks re-election, is being fought strenuously. sThe result is doubtful, hut a second ballot will ho almost certain. Should Mr Beehy win. it will probably mean the breakaway of more members from the Government party, and the formation of a third party.
