The Government has secured two thousand doctors , towards the ten thousand required to treat the twelve million people insured under tlie Act Many districts stall resolutely refuse 1 to work under the Act. • The secretary of the British Medical Association states that members have not been absolved Prom their oginal pledge. ~ Tiro additional members of the Medical Council have iresngned, disapproving of tlie policy of insurance.
