I ARRESTED FOR PERJURY. | r+wtpb—rrew Aivma&wn.) . AUCKLAND Last Night. ; -At the instance of .the New Zealand police Walter Edmond " Harvey has been, arrested at Sydney on a charge of perjury. It is alleged that on December 14th- at Waihi, Harvey did falsely , swear that he had no revolver in his possession; ahd'.did: not' point a (revolver at William Hunt, at Karangatako on November 10th.' Harvey left by the Wimmera last week, and was detained on his arrival at Syjtto-y. Detective Sweeney left for Sydnev to-nitrht to apply for extradition, and escort him back to Auckland. '' i .
