There was a good attendance, and the totalisator handled £15,364&, as against £10,994 on the corresponding day last year, making a total for the meeting of £52,840, an increase of £9353£ an the 1911 Summer meeting. '•One niglit I struck a match, and the whole box went off in my hand burning me across the palm," says Mrs J. R.. Worseley. Margate. Tas. "The pain was awful. T went to the store and looked round for something to relieve me. T saw Chamberlain's Pain Balm, and noticed the word "bums" on the label. T rubbed it on my hand, with the result that the pain quickly disappeared and 1 was able to go to sleep. In the morning J found the skin whole, and • the hum quickly healed without leaving a scar." '
