(1) This U.y-hw ma- be cited or referred to as "The Lansdowne Water Supply By-law, 1912.—1t shall be read with and shall form part of "The Lansdowne Water Supply By-law, 1909," and shall come into force on the loth of January, 1913. C?fClaus6'B Lansdowno Water Supply By-law, 1000, is hereby repealed,. and • the following clause substituted ther<?for: —_ ''All communication. pipes for ordinary domestic supply between the main and the boimaiary' of the street formation for the time beiflg shall be one-half (J-) inch diameter. Ini each case the main will be tapped by the Council, who will provide a stopcock a-nd cover, for which service a fee of ten shillings (10s) will be payable by the applicant, and such fee must be lodged'with'the application for the •supply. The remainder of the work •must*bo done, in accordance with the provisions of "The Lansdowno Water Supply By-law, 1909," at the expense of the applicant. , Provided that nothing m the foregoing provision shall pi event the Council "from authorising the laying of a service pipe of larger diameter than half (i) . inch, if the: Council shall, from the.circumstances, in its discretion, think fit to do so. Passed at a special meeting of the Council the 12th day of November, at a special meeting of the Council the 24th day of December, 1912 . The Common Seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the County of Masterton was affixed, to the above By-law in pursuance of a resolution, of the Masterton County Council nassed on the 24th day or December, 1912. in the presence ot W.
