Proprietory at the Electric Theatre before a crowded I The main feature of the programme was a 3500 ft film called "An Acrobat's Daughter." the sequel to "The Foxtr Da re-Devils," and being a in(terosting and fascinating story of cirI ens life in which the inevitable count | claims the (affections of a girl acroIbat, his trials and triumphs being, faithfully portrayed amidst circus and court lifo. An exceptionally fine lot of dramas vvere also shown in support of tliig/star. "The Girl Reporter's Big Scoop," -a fine effort by Kalem, was. a rather exciting picture, in which a girl took the unusual part of an outside reporter, and gained wellearned high honours. "The Convict's Parole.," by Edison, was also a very fine effort, lieing a story of • prison life and having a distinct educational value. "The- Miller off Burgundy" was a very pretty stoi-y of modern dav French' peasantry, told by "the Selig Co. "On the Moonlight Trail" (by the Essanav Co.) supplied the Western element. It was a fine melodrama; and one that stirred the audience to bursts of excitement. The scenic and industrial portion was of a more educational character than usual, and was represented in "Sponge Fishing," "Cotton Spinning." "Henley Regatta" and "Stag Hunting on Exmoor." The humorous side was also apparent, the best being a picture of "Bewildering Transformations." Several others including "Jenkin's Hydraulics." "Onlv the Hobo Club" and "Polidor at School" were .also shown. This finp holiday series will be repeated to-night and to-morrow night. A special holiday change taking place on Wednesday, New Year'ft night.
