There will be ten race meetings held in various parts of New Zealand on Boxing Day, the principal fixtures being Auckland, Manawatu and Dunedin. Satisfactory acceptances have been received for 'the Summer meeting of the Wairarapa Racing Club. There was again a fair amount of rain at Taratahi on Sunday, but a good deal more would do no harm, a.s the tracks are very hard. Several of the horse? working at JOpaki are showing signs of soreness. Sir Knox was very sore yesterday morning, and went very scratchily in his work.
