GRADING OF TEACHER

(By Tetegraph> —Pratt Asiociation. AUCKLAND, Last Night. The working of the grading system for teachers has been the subject of an inquiry by a special committee of the Auckland branch ol the Zealand Educational Institute. This committee submitted! its report to a special meeting of the institute yesterday. The report made various _ recommendations, one of the principal ■being that men and women teachers bo graded on separate lists. This-re-commendation was negatived, an amendment to. the effect that both sexes be graded on one list being carried. The meeting also decided in favour of the Appeal Board being a Board of Inspectors.
