■ (Our Own Co .respondent.) MAUJRICEVILLE WEST. The deep interest taken in the dairying industry, and other matters of great local interest by our lato factory manager, Mr J. Brash, was pubicly recognised last night, when the old schoolroom was pacted to overflowing with friends from far a.nd near, who wished to bid farewell to Mr Brash and his (family. During the evening a fine programme of vocal and instrumental items was rendered, ' and was much appreciated ; after which Messrs.E. W. Nielson (Chairmasi), J. P. Petersen, and L. Matt-! son gave speeclies of a most interest-' ing and touching nature, outlining many of the good qualities of the departing ones, and the benefits derived!, from their efforts, and also welcoming the new manager, Mr Milne. A.presentation of a" handsome travelling bag .to Mr Brash, and a silver mounted handbag to Mrs Brash was then made by the Chairma.n'i of ■ Directors, ■ for which Mr Brash returned thanks in a well chosen speech.'
