RULES AND REGULATIONS. Events run under rules of New Zealand Athletic Union. Permits may be obtained from Mr W. Gillespie, Master-ton, or from the Secretary. Winners will be required to produce licenses before the prize money is paid out. No nomination will bo accepted on any account without the proper entrance fee. Nominations for 1. -t, 5. 6. 7, 8. 9, 10 and 11 close with the Secretary (Mr D. W. at Pahiatua on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7th, at 8 p.m. NOMINATIONS MUST be accompanied by cash or postal notes. All performances for the past two vears must be {liven. If no wins for last two years, four last performances must bo given. Acceptances for events mentioned and entrance for othors close on the ground 20 minutes before the race Protest must bo made in writing tho Secretary or the Judge or Jud< within fifteen minutes after the race in dispute together with a deposit of--5 per cent of th* amount of stake (minimum os). which shall be forfeited if the protest be found to be frivolous or vexatious.
