First Event at 11 o'clock sharp. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Events run under rules of New Zealand Athletic Union. Permits may lie obtained from M.r W. Gillespie', Master-ton, or from the Secretary. Winners will be required to produce licenses before the prizo money is paid out. No nomination will be accepted on any account without the proper entrance fee. i Nominations for 4. 5 6 7, 8, 9. 10, 12, 13, 16, and 17 close with the Secretary (Geo. W. West) at Pongaroa on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 1912. at 8.30 p.m. Nominations MUST be accompanied by cash or postal notes. All performances for tho past two years must be given, also starts and I positions at finish of each event. If no performance during last two years, four last performances must be stated. Handicaps will appear in the Wnirarapa Age on SATURDAY. DECEM* BER 14. 1912. Acceptances for events mentioned and entrance for all other events close ! with the Secretary 20 minutes before > the event. Protests, in writing accompanied bv 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous or vexatious, must be lodged with the Secretary, within 10 minutes of the race.
