BUILT IN A DAY. (.By Tekgravh—Prm Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. An attempt made by tho Methodist people of the Papatoetoo district to build «• whole church for themselves in one day was .successful, for during ■tho hours between dawn aiutl darkness on Saturday, a fine little building was erected', and in the major sense completed ready for the first service, which was conducted by the Iter. W. 'Ready on Sunday morning. The work was started at daylight, and completed: by gaslight in the evening. The Papatoetoe people have some £7O for all the work, excepting tho plastering, and some of the plumbing, which was given free. As it is. the buildinc will now cost some £4BO. It will be used a<s a hall on week days, for tho congregation wish to swell the fund's to pay off the debt.
