EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their cattle pale, held in Eke-, tahuna, as follows: Our entry did not come in to advertised numbers owing no doubt to vendors taking advantage of the fine weather for sheafing. Some very good steers were offered, but these failed to find purchasers, reserves on same being too high. All odd lots of cattle, however, sold readily ; dairy heifers being in good demand, and a good clearance resulted. Following is a list of prices realised: 2-yr steers £4 7s to £5. 3-yr steers to £5, yearling ptcors £2 17s 6rl to £3 I.os Gd, yearling heifers £2 17s to £<l Is, empty 2-yr heifers to £1 16s, springing heife-s £6 to £6,-7s Od, store cows £2 7s to £4 2s 6d, bulls to £o.
