MEETING OF COMMITTEE. Tin* monthly meeting of the genera] committee of the Masterton A. an<] P, Association was hold on Saturday last, there being present Messrs ' H. Morrison (president), J. Strang, H. Bagg, J. T. Dagg, \V. Perry, W. Cooper B. llavncr, G. H. Shaw, W. H. Buick, G. C, Suinmerell, S. ». TiivncaistoT. J. C. McKillop, 1). Cas elberg and 0. C. Cooper. The report of the .--pedal meeting: held for the selection of judges was adopted. A communication was received from the N.Z. Kennel (.-lull, authorising the allocation of the challenge class for smooth-coated collies to the Mastorton Show.—lt was pointed out that any dogs competing in this' class would require to he registered with. the Kennel Club. —After some discussion', it was decided that the challenge class be accepted, and that registration of dogs be made with the secretary at the time of entry. The report of the Ground Committee, at the meeting of which Mr. B. Rayner presided, was road. The { committee recommended that the use of the Sohvay grounds, on the usual conditions, he granted to the Y.M.C.A. for a nicnic on January 16th, and to the Kuripuni Met' Church for a garden party on January 30th. The caretaker reported having altered fourteen stalls for mares and foals; made one <.--'.•••) ya.rd for member?''
