Steppe (Imp.), dam of Stepmak, is by Saunterer (Winner of Champagne Stakes, Goodwood and Brighton Oups) out of Seclusion, dam of Hermit (winner of Derby in 1887. Axmilla (dam of PETER PAN) is a member of the successful Locket family, and to which belongs Thunderbolt (for many years a successful sire in South Australia), Medallion (sire of Achilles, etc.), Necklace, the dam of Cravat (Metropolitan Stakes winner), Collarette (dam of Collarit). Armilla (dam of Peter Pan) is a full sister to Cravat and Collarette, by imported Castor, whose progeny have won about £IOO,OOO in stakes. PETER PAN was bred by Mr J. F.
