NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Free* Association.) WELLINGTON, Last. Night. Ike Rev D. C. Bates, of tlie-Meteo-rological Office, this evening issued the following:— Tli6 barometric pressure increased in the south during the night, and.the , winds ha-ve .moderated to-day. A westerly area of low pressure lias existed to the .westward of New Zea<land, during the past four days, and the very warm and hazy weather in its front has continued. Conditions, however, were somewhat unsettled in the northernmost districts last night. Present indications are for variable breezes, but northerly and westerly winds prevailing and freshening again soon. The present warm and hazy weather is likely to continue generally in the eastern districts, but with more cloudiness and mist and fogs or the western coasts shortly. The barometer is unsteady, with a falling tendene}
