Stepniak, during the past ten seasons, produced many winnerb, stakes amounting to £90,000. Steppe (Imp.), dam of Stepniak, is by Saunterer (Winner of Champagne Stakes, Goodwood and Brighton Dups) out of Seclusion, dam of Hermit (winner of Derby in 1887. Armilla (dam of PETER PAN) is a member of the successful Locket family, and to which belongs Thunderbolt (for .many years "a successful Bire in South Australia), Medallion (sire of Aohilles, etc.), Necklace, the dam of Cravat (Metropolitan Stakes winner), Collarette (dam of Collarit). Armilla (dam of Peter Pan) is a full Bister to Oravat and Collarette, by imported Castor, whose progeny have won about £IOO,OOO in stakes. PETER PAN was bred by Mr J. F.
