Knox, the engino driver, over whoso case the strike was brought about, was disorderly on a tramcar, and assaulted the police. i The company did not dismiss him, because be bad been a driver for 22 years, but, instead, reduced him to the position of pilot driver, with wages 9s less than bo was receiving.
