PONGAROA SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., .and Reduced, report having held their monthly Pongaroa sale on Thursday, when they offered a medium yarding of sheep and cattle to a small attendance of farmers, owing, no doubt, to shearing operations being in full awing; we, however, have to report a total clearance of all stock yarded, at the following rates: 2-tli wethers 13s 4d to l&s 6d, small 2-th wethers lis lOd, yearling steers £3 6s to £3 Bd. heifers in milk £5 IGs, bulls £4. to £4 IGs. EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their usual fortnightly sale at Eketahuna on Friday, 6th inst: Only a pniall entry- of stock came forward ; all lines offered, however, were disposed of at prices well up to recent market reports. Following is a list of prices: Cull 2-ths lis sd. medium 2 and 4ths, mostly wethers, 13s 9d, empty heifers to £4. springing heifI era £4 ss, weaners 35s to 395, cows in milk £3 t)s to £7. We wish to drawn the attention of clients to our cattle fair on Friday, 13th inst, in the Eketahuna sajeyards at 12 o'clock, sharp.
