PONGAROA SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., .and Reduced, report having held their monthly Pongaroa sale on Thursday, when they offered a medium yarding of sheep and cattle to a small attendance of farmers, owing, no doubt, to shearing operations being in full awing; we, however, have to report a total clearance of all stock yarded, at the following rates: 2-tli wethers 13s 4d to l&s 6d, small 2-th wethers lis lOd, yearling steers £3 6s to £3 Bd. heifers in milk £5 IGs, bulls £4. to £4 IGs. EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their usual fortnightly sale at Eketahuna on Friday, 6th inst: Only a pniall entry- of stock came forward ; all lines offered, however, were disposed of at prices well up to recent market reports.
