NEW ZEALAND FORECAST, (By Telegraph — Pres* Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. O. Bates, of the rological Office, tins evening issued the following:Changeable weather has prevailed with showers at times, especially in the South Island, and squally conditions in Fovcaux Strait. The winds have been variable and moderate to strong in force, and the barometric pressure has increased generally. Present indications are for mild and ha/A- weather generally unsettled nt times in the northern and southernmost districts. Increasing cloudiness and humidity is likely to precede a change shortly. Variable breezes will give way to freshening northerly and westerly winds, with the. barometer falling everywhere.
