NELSON, Last Night, The Harbour Board has decided to take a poll of ratepayers on a proposal to carry out the works recommended by Mr R. W. Holmes, engineer-in-chief to the Marine Department, at a cost of about £IO,OOO, to improve the harbour by dredging and widening the entrance, to enable the port to be worked freely by_ larger ocean liners.
