NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph, — Pres* Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, tins evening issued the following:— Except for a temporary improvement on Sunday the weather hafi been generally unsettled. Rain lias fallen at tiuiea in most parts with variable •and strong winds. Present indications are for strong northerly and westerly winds- in and northwards of Cook Strait, and southerly and southeasterly elsewhere, changing to southerly for i\ short time everywhere after 10 hours. Rain is probablo generally with rivers high' and some snow on the higher levels in the south. The barometer is likely to rise everywhere shortly, hut only temporarily in the south. •
