'' A telegram from Cambridge statos that the National Hotel and Catholic Presbytery were destroyed by fire this afternoon. Both were old buildings. The hotel consisted of o\ or twenty rooms. It was owned by Hancock and Co., Auckland, whoso insurances are not stated. James Wat tors, the licensee, bad his stock insured for £2OO. It is understood that Watters bad effected a sale of his interest this week, but the buyer (Harked) had not taken possession.
