The weatner yesterday \yi.s anything but bowlers' weather. Notwithstanding the downpour, the Carterton teams came to Masterton to play ama toll for the Booth Cup. Several players selected to do battle for Masterton wove absent, but Carterton, desiring to get the match off, it was decided' that only 15 heads l>e played.- • In the result the southerners: had' matters all their own way, each Masterton team going under.
