MAUItICEVILLE WKST. Once more, after a short, dry spoil, shearing has been delayed by a waini north-west rain, which set in on Tuesday morning. -It will, no doubt, ho welcomed by all but those who havo sheep, work on hand. The clips that have been finished appear to ho in excellent condition. The sheep also are in gQod order. Should weather conditions continue favourable a record number of fat sheep will bo <j;ot away. The Cricket Club has all final arrangementk complete for a jovial time at its danco on Friday next. The club lias also arranged to play a practice match with Tvopouranga on Saturday, 30 inst. The output from the local butter factory is nearing 100 boxes weekly.. Hie-milk supply is l rising steadily. ,
