WAIPOUA STOCK SALE. Messrs James Macintosh and Co. report having hold their usual weekly salo in their Masterton (Waipoun) saleyards on Wednesday, November 27th, when they offered a very small yarding of sheep, but a good entry of cattle, which met with onjy fair competition, but practically tho whole yarding was sold at the following rates: 4-yr steers t'6 9s, 3-vr steers £5 to £5 os, 2-yr steers £4 7s 6d, store cows £3 19s, yearling heifers £3 -5s to £'3 10s, store ewes to 8s Id, fat ewes 14s 6d.

PA HI ATU A STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and ReducI ed report having held their weekly sale in the Mangahao yards, Pahiatua, on Tuesday, when they offered a medium entry of cattle to a small attendance of buyers. No doubt due to the very wet day, prices were somewhat easier. Consequently a large number of cattle wero passed out unsold. The following are .some of the prices realised: Empty heifers £3 9s to £4 10s, heifers at drop £o 10s to £7 2s 6d, dairy cows at profit £7, heifers with calf at foot £3 17s Gel, yearling steers £2 12s, hulls £3 to £4.

Messrs Daigety and Co report on yesterday's wool, skin and hide sale as .follows: We presented our catalogue to a small attendance of buyers, but prices wero satisfactory, and wo cleared our consignment. Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report: We held our sale of wool, skins and hides to-day, when we offered a catalogue of about 30 bales and 100 bags wool, 3400 sheepskins, 400 hides, and a quantity of horsehair, rabbitskins, and tallow. There was a smaller attendance of buyers than usual, but competition was keen for all lots at full market rates. The W.F.C.A. held their usual monthly sale of wool, skins and hides yesterday, 27th inst. Although there was not a big attendance of buyers, the prices realised were well up to ruling market rates. ' A large catalogue was offered, comprising 2200 sheepskins, 20 bales and -TO bags- of wool, 4 r.wfc rabbitskins, fi bags horsehair. 70 tins >and 2 casks of tallow, 100 hides and 400 calfskins, prices ranging as follows: Sheepskins, Ist X-bred Sid, Ist hogget 7;id, dead 61d, hoggets dead 6£d, -J--wools 6d, lambs otd. Wool, fleece 9d to lOcl, de-ad pieces to fijd, crutehings Gel, locks 4£d. Rabbitskins Is 3sd. Horsehair Is B£d. Tallow 2253 d, 24s 3d, 26s 6d per cwt.
