At the quarterly meeting of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, the President (Mr R. Hill-Fisher), commenting on the establishment of another bank in the Dominion, zemarko:l- that in view of the. large increase of the business of the country, it was to be'regretted that additional banking facilities should rot be affordr ed by the enterprise of New Zealand capitalists'.
