Tho Australian Lithyte Factory at Annandalo, with its contents, was destroyed by fire.

Tho damage is.estimated at £IO,OOO

A large, quantity of oil drums exploded. A public school adjoining escaped, but the children were much alarmed at the explosions, and wero sent home.

A man named Rushton, an employee at the factory, was severely burned before ho escaped from the burning building.
