BAWERA, Last Night,
The twenty-ninth annual show oi: the Egmont A. and P. Association was opened to-day in beautiful weather. There was a good attendance. The entries received • numbered 2077, aseompared with 1730 in 1911. Cattle showed a substantial increase, while horses number 100 more than in the previous year. The following championships were awarded: —. Cattle: Shorthorn cow and. bull—G. A. Turner. Eltham 1.. Henefords—J. Forbes, Norrn&nby, 1. Aberdeen Argus cow—F. Moore, Wariganui, 1; bull, C. J. Russell, Wanganui, 1. HoL steins— Cow, J. Imlah, Hawera, 1. Ayrsliires—Cbw, C. Karstein, Waikanae, 1; bull, J. Ivyle, Palmerston. N., T. Jerseys—Cow, A. A. Ward, Inglewood, 1; bull, W. V.
