WAIRAUAPA' CLUB
The annual sports meeting of the Wairnrapa Amateur Athletic Chxb' will be held on Boxing Day; This propressive and popular club have drawn up a programme of exceptional merit, which appear sin thi sis sue. The trophies offered are of the most value ever competed for by the local club. The chief event ait..the programme is the one mile open handicap, the winner of which will hold the Chen-. Nells' Cup, valued-, at £5 ss, and will receive a trophy valued at £l. The other events cover distances from. 75 yards to three miles. The filed events on the programme, for which substantial prizes are offered are varied and numerous. Entries for all open events close, with the secretary, Mr W. L. S. Dixosi:.
