NEW ZEALAND'S FORfCABT. (By Telegraph—Pr«»a WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following:— Southerly winds have prevailed, with eliangeable weather, fair to cloudy conditions predominating. The barometer has been unsteady, with a rising tendency. The Moeraki radiographs a reading of 30.50 on the Tasman Sea. Present indications are for strong southerly winds, veering to easterly. Cool and changeable weather proljabl© generally, with ft rising barometer everywhere.
