RULES AND .REGULATIONS. Events run under rules of New Zealand Athletic Union. Permits may bo obtained from Mr W l . Gillespie, Master ton, or from the Secretary. Winners will be required to . produce licenses before the prize money is paid out. Xo nomination will be accepted on any account without the proper entrance fee. Nominations for 1. 4, 5. 6. 7, 8. 9. 10. and 11" close with the Secretary (Mr D. W. Wilton at Pahiauia on SATURDAY', DECEMBER 7th, at 8 p.m. NOMINATIONS- MUST be accompanied by cash or postal notes.' All performances for the past two years must be given. If no wins for 'last two years, four last performances must be given. Acceptances for events mentioned and entrance for others close on the p;rouyd 20 minutes before the race. Protest must be made in writing to the Secretary or the Judge or Judges, within, fifteen minutes after the race in dismite together with a deposit of 5 per'cent of the amount of stake (minimum 3s), which shall be forfeited if the protest be found to be frivolous or vexatious. ■ In Field Events and; Pipimr and Dancing Competitions, the la- to enter to compete, first.
