Batos, of tho Moteo- > ro!ogical Olfice, tin is evening issued the following:— The winds have moderated in all parts, but at East Cape where a i south-westerly gale "is still reported,! the weather lias improved to-day, and tho barometer is rising slowly in the north, but falling steadily in the I south. PiosL'iit indications are for fair to cloudy weather, with winds increasing to northerly and westerly winds, for a change in weather conditions is probable soon southward of Kawhia and Castlepoint. The barometer is falling everywhere, especially in the south.
