TAIIATAHT STOCK SALES. Messrs. D.u'gety and Co. report on their Taratahi sale, hold on Monday, as follows;—A small entry of sheep camo forward, <md an exceptionally large entry of cattle, all lines of which met with a ready sale. Tho demand for empty dairy heifers of good quality was very keen, and -prices realised for those specially advertised on account of Messrs W. 11. and A. E. Booth were very good throughout, the highest being records for Taratahi yards. The following is a list of prices realised: Shoep—Empty owes 14s, ewes and limbs 21s 6d. Cattle—On ttc. Mr W. H. Booth, Jersey cross he-ifors C 4 2s to £4. 7s, Shorthorn cross heifers i! 4 to £5, fat heifers £5 2s (id, 2-yr Jersey bull 16 gns; on ac\ A. K Honi'h, 2-yr heifers £4 to £4 10s, Jersey cross heifers £3 19s to £4 15*; on ;ic. other vendors, Jersey cross heifers £3 13s to £9 15s, 18-mth* to 2-yr heifers £4 7s 6d to £5 on, dairy heifers £o 7s 6d to £5 17s Tkl, fat cony £o &s, dairy cows £8 2s 6d to £S 10s. empty heifers £4 6s, Jersey and Jersey cress bulls £2 5s to £5 15s.
