THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES "THE LADY OF THE LAKE." The "Vanda" season was brought to a close at the Foresters Hall last evening. To-night there will be a special series of pictures, the chief of which will be "The Lady of the Lake." The popularity of the Vitagraph Co. is well known to picture patrons, and in tlie latest output—"The Lady of the Lake" —the company is seen to advantage. . The drama is adapted from tliat famous poem of Sir Walter - Scott's and is taken in the vicinity of Loch Katrine. The production of 3000 feet is a .masterpiece of cinematograph art. Supporting this star drama is an excellent series of subjects, including "At the End of the Trail" (a splendid Indian drama by the Vita graph Co.), "The Land of Burns" (a beautiful Scotch scenic), "A Love Idyll" (a beautiful story), "An Indian Maid's Elopment" (Bison drama), "A Westtern Courtship" Ca Lubin drama), "All's Well That- Ends Well" (Cines drama) and a number of fine scenics , and comedies. This programme with j the exception, of "The Lady of the Lake," will be shown for to-night only, and there lvill be • another change of pictures to-morrow night At the children's matinee on Saturday afternoon "The Lady of th<' Lake" will be shown.
