Batee, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— Strong southerly and westerly winds hare predominated. The weather, though cloudy a.n<d showery in parts, has generally improved today, -and the barometer is still low. Present indications are for strong west to south-westerly winds, .and changeable and showery weather, especially oil the Wcsfc Coast and in southern districts; but the barometer ihas a rising tendency and a general ..improvement in the weather conditions may be .expected shortly. The middle of next week is, however, likely to prove unsettled.
