CHURCH SERVICES.
Rev. A. T. Thompson, 8.A., 8.D., wiU conduct both the morning and evening services at Knox Church tomorrow. In the morning a memorial service to the-late Rev-; John Ross, who in 1867 was first minister here, will be held. The subject for the evening service wiW he "The Bible hi State Schools." An Hfternoon service will he held at Kaititna. The Men's Society will meH at 10 a.m. Rev. E. T. Olds will conduct the morning service to-morvow at ■ the Methodist Chm-ch and the evening service at Knripuni. Rev S. J. Serpell will take the evening service at Master ton. the morning service at Kuripuni and the afternoon service at Rangitnroa;». At the Baptist Chuveh to-ntovrow, Pastor E. Swinerd's subjects will be: :Moraing, "Heb. 1 —12.'" Evening:; "Should die Chnveil provide Amusements for the People. What saith the Scriptures ?" A reply to Mr .J. T. 31. Hornsby's address given ia the Congregational Church, on Sunday, October 26th. A hearty invihition is given to all to he present. The Rev. J. S. Young will conduct services to-morrow at 'Bid<e.ford. Wangaelni afternoon, and Lansdowne evening. , At the latteir the course will he <>u " Ihe .Touine\ .)f Life Sweetened by the Present ot Christ." The Rev. M. L. Thomas will conduct services at the Congregational Church Maslerton, in the forenoon and evening. At the latter service lie will discourse on "Optimism and' the difficulties- of Life." All seats are free hymn books provided', and visitor/are cordially welcomed.
