The change of programme at the Town Hall last evening drew a large* : audience. The stir drama "Black ) Blood" is a photo-play in three acts. j It is a story of the love of an Jnj dian doctor (under circumstances I more dramatic than edifying. Le- ) Grange, a bank manager, and his wife are depicted returning from their honeymoon, and the husband, tells of the time which ho spent in India with a native doctor. Some days later the doctor arrives in town for the purpose of continuing studies, falls in love with the young wife, and tries to separate her from her husband. The- manager has valuable securities in his possession, which he has to deliver next day. While he is | looking at the papers the doctor [ conies into the room and learns ' where they are hidden. Later on, while drinking together, the doctor 1 drugs the manager, and steals the securities.. Next morning, on his recovery, the manager, thinking the securities safe, is surprised at being t arrested,'and telegraphs for his wife. , He then secures the services of the police, and the final scene depicts the dramatic arrest of the doctor, and thefinding of the securities. In "PseuI do Sultan" John Bunny provides a funny Sultan. "Cowboy Life in U.S.A." was very interesting. The comic, "Overdoing It," was a real screamer, while the coloured acrobatic, tf'Lista Amdia and La Nolda,."' was worth the price of admission itself. "General Booth's Funeral" shows us how much, lie was respected by the crowds which attended the day of his burial. All the pictures were, up •to the high standard for which the Mnsterton Picture Company is noted.
